Much like Consumer Reports with blinders on. The info on the Honda CR-V is so far off, it is absurd. They suggest one can find the overpriced Honda for sale in the low to mid $20k range with a 5 year Total Cost of Ownership at about $30,000. Most Honda dealers will not sell their CR-Vs for less that $30,000 and they are all loaded with options, add-ons, and dealer mark-ups.

But clearly, I must be a minority, because VW is pretty much the only choice for a fun-to-drive wagon anymore - or any wagon at all. Instead, we have multiple small/compact SUVs with much less passenger and storage space, lower mileage, and whose main fun-to-drive credit is that they handle better than a full size SUV.
