agreed this decision was made long ago, but that doesnt change the fact that no one will stand up to it in the current admin. its stupid when research shows its damaging and no one does a thing. no one has common sense.

ill agree that the technology is not where it needs to be, but the article is a bit like its LOOKING for reasons it wont work. its assuming you are using a fossil fuels power plant to generate electricity for hydrogen removal...not necessarily true. it is also limitless and is essentially a closed system. what goes in comes back out and can be used once again. the supporting technologies need to also come a long way but i ultimately think it will be the answer. it is too simple a substance with too much potential. It will be hard to beat a pollution-less, abundant, single electron atom (when H is alone). It still has a long way to go though.

Read this article on hydrogen; and you will find out why I used to be a hydrogen advocate but have changed my mind. http://mb-soft.com/public2/hydrogen.html

agreed 100%. I dont get why people think this electricity for e-cars comes out of thin air. its just redistribution of where the fuel gets burned. hydrogen may still be problematic ill agree, but once the puzzle is solved, it is going to be quite tough to beat. its simple chemical composition alone makes it tough to beat.

what makes more sense: hydrogen, or stress-the-grid limited range e-power? why is our energy strategy assbackward? think we need a change in Nov? great post
